Pope Francis canceled all his audiences for Monday as a precautionary measure after having persistent, mild flu-like symptoms.

The Holy See Press Office said: "Mild flu-like symptoms persist. There is no fever. As a precaution, however, Pope Francis' audiences this morning are suspended."

Although the Pope canceled all his Saturday engagements for mild flu, he delivered his weekly Angelus address in St. Peter's Square on Sunday.

Pope Francis' next public engagement is expected the weekly General Audience with the faithful on Wednesday morning in the Vatican's Paul VI Hall.
