PM Mostafa Madbouly witnessed on Sunday the inauguration of the "Ahlan Ramadan” exhibition in Giza Governorate.
The Prime Minister confirmed that an early opening date of the exhibition, starting January, with the aim of providing goods to citizens at low prices, through the exhibition and other mobile outlets, including those of the ministries of Agriculture, defence, interior, and local development.
The Prime Minister inspected a large part of the exhibition to find out the availability of various foodstuffs and basic commodities of interest to the citizen, and to ensure that they are sold at reasonable prices.
He also toured the outlets of the Ministry of Agriculture that offer products at reduced prices, including outlets selling rice, meat and poultry, and watched the offers presented at the exhibition, including a “carton of food commodities” that includes the most important basic commodities that the citizen needs at competitive prices.
The Prime Minister was also briefed on the activities of the vegetable and fruit outlet of the National Service Projects Agency of the Armed Forces.
Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply confirmed during the inauguration that a number of “Ahlan Ramadan” exhibitions have been opened in several governorates, and expansion is under way by establishing another number of these exhibitions, with a plan aimed at providing 5 exhibitions in each governorate, as well as others in villages.
He said that the rates of discounts on goods in those exhibitions will reach more than 30%.
