Dr. Salah Sawan, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), announced that student Yazid Tarek has been awarded the first place in the unified test over the faculties of physiotherapy in Egypt.
In a press release, MUST said that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honored Tarek during the celebration of Science Day in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Azazi, President of the University.
The Dean, staff of the faculty and the Students' Union congratulated Tarek for achieving first place.
Sawan praised the idea of the standardized test, pointing out that the idea of the exam applied in USA, England, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
The students need to pass the exam to obtain a license to practice the profession.
On his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Azazi, President of the University hailed the quality of the information infrastructure and the network of educational devices and computers.
It is worth mentioning that the university includes a number of important colleges such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Nursing, Applied Medical Sciences, Engineering, Media, Management and Economics, Information Technology, Languages and Translation, Archaeology and Tourism Guidance and Special Education.
