On Saturday, the Iconic Tower in the New Administrative Capital celebrated the new year for the first time.
The tower, which is the tallest tower in Africa, exhibited several light shows which added a festive atmosphere to people.
Deputy Head of the New Capital’s Development Authority Ahmed Al Arabi said that people can see the lights of the tower from the surrounding highways.
Al Araby told reporters that the tower's front facade and the construction works of the tower were concluded and it is 385 meters high.
The second section will be for residential units, and the third and final section will be for guests and service.
