Every last Saturday of March, the world celebrates Earth Hour which is a worldwide movement by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to encourage everyone to use energy in a smarter way and to make them aware of the issues related to nature and planet Earth.

Participating in the event by turning off the non-essential electric lights for one hour, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 as a symbol of solidarity with the planet. 

More than 100 countries across the world took place at Earth Hour, and they expressed their participation by turning the lights of the most dominant destinations and landmarks.
