Egyptian’s handball youth national team landed on Tuesday in Egypt after achieving the bronze medal at the Men’s Junior U21 World Championship in Spain.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, and Hisham Hatab, the chairman of the Egypt Olympic Committee received the national team at Cairo International Airport.
The Pharaohs ended a 20-year wait for a bronze medal by demolishing Portugal 37-27 in the third-place play-off to rank third for the second time in their history.

They achieved the title one time before in the 1993 tournament, hosted by Egypt after they defeated Denmark in the final game.
