On Monday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his country will not remain silent or submit to what he described as American and Israeli “crimes.”
In a statement, Pezeshkian stressed that Iran would defend its sovereignty and respond to ongoing attacks and pressures.
“We will not stay silent and we will not surrender,” the president said, underscoring Tehran’s firm stance amid heightened tensions.
He further said that targeting patients and children in Iran constitutes a “blatant violation of humanitarian principles,” calling on the international community to condemn what he described as U.S. and Israeli attacks.
The president urged global leaders to take a clear position against the strikes, warning that silence would undermine humanitarian values.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran would use “all its capabilities” to confront Israel and the United States.
