Pete Davidson Will No Longer Fly to Space

The “Saturday Night Live” actor Pete Davidson has dropped out of Jeff Bezos' latest space flight.

Davidson, 28, is no longer able to take part in the shuttle's 20th voyage, the billionaire's private space company Blue Origin announced Thursday on social media.

"Blue Origin's 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29. Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days." Blue Origin tweeted.

The flight was slated to take place at 9:30 a.m. ET on March 23. It includes Commercial Space Technologies president Dr. George Nield, educator Jim Kitchen, SpaceKids Global nonprofit founder Sharon Hagle and her husband, Tricor International CEO Marc Hagle.

Davidson was set to be the third celebrity to join the company’s human flight missions.

“Star Trek” actor William Shatner and “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan has served as celebrity guests on Blue Origin flights.
