On their Day.. Parliament Speaker Hails Policemen

Speaker of Parliament Dr. Hanafi Jabali said on Sunday that Egypt is celebrating the National Police Day, expressing his appreciation to those who contributed to drawing Egypt’s modern history.

During the plenary session of the House of Representatives, Jabali added: "On January 25 of every year, Egypt celebrates its soldiers and police officers who defend every citizen and eliminate terrorism and extremism.”

The parliament speaker expressed appreciation to the policemen who are sacrificing their lives for the national duty and for ensuring security and safety in all parts of Egypt.

Jabali noted: “We also celebrate the January 25 revolution, which paved the way for the June 30 revolution, in which millions of people from all political currents participated.”
