Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Turkey on Monday in a three-day official visit.
The official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that Abbas is scheduled to meet - during his visit - with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
The agency added that the visit is of great importance at this delicate stage, in light of the continuing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Palestinian President is accompanied by the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, and his advisor for diplomatic affairs, Magdi Al-Khalidi.
