Pakistan Sends Sixth Humanitarian Shipment for Gaza via Egypt

Pakistan has delivered its sixth humanitarian consignment for Gaza under the current batch of relief efforts, with a special chartered aircraft carrying 100 tonnes of emergency supplies landing at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt on Sunday. The shipment, sent under the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, was organized by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the Al-Khidmat Foundation.

The latest consignment consists entirely of non-food relief items, including urgently needed tents, tarpaulin sheets, and jerry cans, intended to support families displaced by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Upon arrival, the humanitarian aid was formally handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, which is overseeing the transfer of international assistance into Gaza. Egypt continues to serve as the primary logistical hub for global humanitarian operations directed toward the besieged enclave.

In a statement, the Government of Pakistan expressed deep gratitude to Egypt’s leadership — under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi — and to the Egyptian Red Crescent for consistently facilitating the safe and rapid delivery of Pakistani relief supplies to the Palestinian population.
