The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in Pakistan has sent its 15th and 16th humanitarian shipments to those affected by the Israeli attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

According to a statement from the NDMA, reported by the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune, each shipment contains 100 tons of essential winter supplies, including tents and blankets. The shipments departed from the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, to Amman, Jordan, and then onward to Gaza and Beirut.

Pakistan has so far sent a total of 1,598 tons of relief supplies to Gaza and Lebanon, with previous shipments departing from the Pakistani city of Karachi. These supplies include food, hygiene products, and clothing.

The Pakistani government reaffirmed its solidarity with both the Palestinian and Lebanese people. Pakistan’s Minister of Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, stated that Pakistan “remains committed to supporting those in need of assistance.”
