Ousmane Dembélé has reassured Paris Saint-Germain F.C. fans over his fitness, confirming he will be ready for the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal F.C. on May 30 in Budapest.
Dembele had raised concerns after leaving PSG’s recent match against Paris FC with a minor injury, sparking doubts over his availability for the highly anticipated final.
However, the PSG winger dismissed fears over the issue, insisting the injury is not serious. Speaking to French channel M6, Dembele said: “I’m fine and feeling much better than I did on Sunday. I was a little worried at first, but the doctor told me it’s nothing serious.”
He added: “I suffered a slight calf strain and didn’t want to take any risks. Yes, I will be there on May 30, so don’t worry.”
Dembele’s comments come as a major boost for PSG head coach Luis Enrique ahead of the European final, with the French international playing a key role in the club’s run to the title match this season.
