Trending Oud (lute) duo, Ghassan Youssef and Dina Abdel Hamid, will perform their new musical theme, “Al Moghamer Wal Hasnaa” (The Adventurous & The Charming ) at Cairo Opera House' Small Hall on December 10.
The artists will introduce a new group of compositions, in addition, they will set a lute competition between each other.
Moreover, they will play various classic selections for Fayrouz, Mohamed Abdel El Wahab, and Umm Kalthoum.
The previous show of both lute players was hosted at El Ghory Complex, and it entitled "Rehlet Salaam" (A Journey into Serenity) which addressed the spiritual side of humanity.
Youssef and Abdel Hamid are widely known for their “Finger and String” technique, as they contribute together to play a musical piece on one lute. T
The couple is the first lute duo in the Arab world, in addition, they took part in various international and regional acts in Morocco, and Egypt, alongside, their regular performances in Cairo.
