The reveal video was filmed in the heart of Clayton, the stronghold of City supporters and near the Etihad Stadium, and featured several first-team stars, including Omar Marmoush, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Mateo Kovačić.
The new kit will make its on-field debut during Manchester City’s participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, set to be held in the United States in summer 2025.
The shirt is characterized by the club’s traditional sky-blue color, enhanced with a white diagonal sash, a nod to the famous kit worn by the team during the 1970s.
For the first time in Manchester City’s history, this design appears on the home kit, rather than the away kit — a tribute that ties the club’s heritage to the present.
