Omani Ambassador to Cairo: Omani-Egyptian relations witness growth and prosperity in all fields

Ambassador Abdullah Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, confirmed that Omani-Egyptian relations are witnessing growth and prosperity in all political, economic, social and cultural fields thanks to the generous care of these relations from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Ambassador Al Rahbi said - in his speech before the third session of the Green Community Forum, in which the Sultanate of Oman is the guest of honor today, Sunday - that the visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to Egypt in May of last year, and his meeting with his brother President El-Sisi, was a qualitative shift in Omani-Egyptian relations in all fields and sectors, noting that the visit established a new phase of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, education and judiciary, as the volume of trade exchanges between the two countries increased to reach about one billion dollars annually, a number that we seek to double during the coming period and benefit from the momentum and support we receive from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

He pointed out that Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman have fraternal relations at all levels, and that these relations are rooted in the steadfastness of their roots since the time of the ancient Egyptians, and continue to develop, with the spirit of love fluttering over them and the springs of joint cooperation watering them. Year after year, relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman grow stronger and more solid, adding to the distinguished and solid path of relations between the two countries. Wisdom and balance have always been the title of relations between the two countries, and these relations extend with confidence and stability under the wise political leadership of the two countries. Al-Rahbi noted that the strong relationship between Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and his brother President Sisi has brought about a great development in relations between the two countries at all levels.
