The Sultanate of Oman stressed the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the opening of humanitarian and relief aid corridors to all parts of the Strip without obstacles.
In a statement, Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is following with great interest the developments of the military escalation in the region, the seriousness of its repercussions.
It also underlined the importance of self-restraint to spare the region and its peoples from the dangers of wars, stressing the need for the Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards maintaining international peace and security.
