Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, discussed with Algerian Minister of Commerce and Export Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, on Monday, aspects of mutual cooperation and enhancing investment and trade cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Omani News Agency, the meeting resulted in an agreement to encourage companies in both countries to enhance partnership and transfer technology with the aim of establishing long-term cooperation that benefits both parties.
The meeting also reviewed the achievements of the joint committee in the field of investment, culminating in the final draft of a memorandum of understanding on investment promotion between the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion.
