No one can deny the importance of social media content, which has gained significant attention. This Ramadan, " Bait Hazar" gained a huge audience on social media, although it is hosted by a woman making her first appearance in the world of social media. She has an engaging personality and a unique way of presenting affordable, budget-friendly, and delicious recipes.

She follows an interesting way at the beginning of each episode by providing an inspirational introduction, where she shares a motivational message before presenting the recipe.

This approach lifts spirits and morale, engaging both the heart and mind, rather than just listing ingredients and instructions.

Behind this impressive concept is a renowned name in the media industry, Director Mohamed Omair.

He is best known for directing the popular Egyptian talk show "El Setat Ma Ye'arafoush Yekdebo", which airs on CBC TV.

His resume includes directing major national and international events, such as: the Sun Alignment Ceremony at Abu Simbel, the Military Academy Graduation Ceremony, attended by the President of Egypt, Majida El Roumi’s concert, and the Handball World Cup draw event.

Therefore, he was asked why a director of such high prolific events would work for a social media program.

He responded passionately: "Nowadays, everyone has a smartphone and watches content on social media at their convenience. This is a major shift—people now have the freedom to choose what they want to watch and when to watch it."

How was the idea of the program scripted?

He explained: "A company asked me to recommend a woman to present a cooking show with a fresh approach. I knew Hazar Qahwaji and her family personally, and I had tasted her delicious food multiple times at gatherings with friends. I was also aware of her humanitarian work within the Syrian community, where she provides psychological support and assistance to families in need."

The director added: "I thought it would be great to present her as she is—an inspiring personality. However, when I first approached her with the idea, she strongly refused, saying she wasn’t suited for such a role. But as a director, I saw great potential in her and convinced her to give it a try.

Thankfully, we filmed 23 recipes, and the show turned out exactly as I had envisioned. The audience’s positive response confirmed that we had created something special."

How Did You Approach a Simple Social Media Show While Being Used to Large-Scale Productions?

"Every project I take on is like my newborn child, and I always see it as an opportunity to achieve something new in my career. I love variety, and even the simplest projects challenge me to bring out the best in them.

I firmly believe that when a director and the entire team put their heart and creativity into any project, no matter how small, it will stand out. That’s exactly what happened with Hazar's Home," he asserted.

Was It Challenging to Work with Someone Who Had Never Been in Front of a Camera Before?

"Absolutely! There were two main challenges: convincing her to appear on camera and maintaining her natural presence and radiant smile throughout the episodes. It was a rewarding experience, and I am proud of the outcome," the director revealed

What is Your Biggest Dream for the Future?

"My dream is to direct the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum. I have a great passion for presenting this historic event in a way that does justice to Egypt’s grandeur and artistic legacy. After all, Egypt has always been a land of creativity and innovation for the entire Arab world," he said.
