Nour El-Sherbiny, top ranked squash player, called for the sport to join the Olympics assuring that it will do wonders when it becomes part of the iconic event to be held in Tokyo next year.

El-Sherbiny stated to Sada El-Balad that Squash players in Egypt always thrived when they are at the international stage, raking up several titles in the process.

These remarks came after the young world champion was honored by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, who awarded her the national medal of the first class.

El-Sherbiny was able to win the world championship held in the Pyramids last November, despite suffering from a knee injury for the fourth time in its history and the second in a row.
