North Korea’s Foreign Ministry has issued a scathing statement condemning the United States and its allies for their criticism of its growing cooperation with Russia. The statement, released via state media, accused the U.S., G7 nations, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and the European Union of spreading misinformation and escalating international tensions by targeting normal relations between sovereign states.

Calling the actions of these countries a “reckless provocation,” the statement criticized the U.S. and its allies for attempting to build pressure through sanctions and what it described as deliberate distortion. North Korea asserted that these efforts violate fundamental principles of international law, including respect for sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of nations.

The ministry placed blame on the U.S. for global instability, citing its "hegemonic and militaristic policies" as the root cause of conflicts like the war in Ukraine and heightened tensions in the Asia-Pacific region. According to Pyongyang, these policies aim to secure the U.S.’s own geopolitical interests while undermining global peace and stability.

North Korea framed its relationship with Russia as a strategic move to counterbalance Western influence, describing the partnership as essential for maintaining global equilibrium and ensuring peace. The statement argued that the hostility shown towards this cooperation proves its effectiveness in challenging the expansionist goals of the U.S. and its allies.

The DPRK also warned that if the U.S. continues its current approach, it will face repeated failures in its dealings with North Korea and create new problems for itself. The statement criticized Western nations for what it called blind allegiance to the U.S., accusing them of undermining diplomacy by acting without respect for the norms of international relations.

North Korea reaffirmed its commitment to defending its sovereignty and exercising its rights without restrictions. It declared that these actions are necessary to protect both national security and global peace in the face of increasing threats from hostile forces.

The statement concluded with a clear message: North Korea will continue to strengthen its national power and maintain its position on the global stage, regardless of outside pressure.
