On Tuesday, at least 37 people were killed when 3 buses collided near Maiduguri, northeastern Nigeria.
According to the Borno state authorities, where the accident occurred, the explosion of a bus tire caused it to collide with another bus that was traveling in the opposite direction, which led to a fire and burning, and then a third bus collided with them.
The accident occurred near the village of Jakana, 35 km from the city of Maiduguri.
A local official said some of the victims were so burned that it was impossible to identify them.
It is noteworthy that among the reasons for the accident were speeding by a bus driver and the poor condition of the roads in the area.
