US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the new tariff policy announced by the United States.
The US State Department said in a statement today, Saturday, that "Rubio had a phone call with Netanyahu to discuss the situation in Gaza and the release of the hostages, as well as the recently announced tariffs."
In the same context, The Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu's office did not issue a statement regarding this conversation, noting that Israeli goods exports to the United States face 17% tariffs.
