Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a short while ago that the Israeli army has begun a major operation in Gaza, according to a breaking news report from Al Qahera News Channel.
Noteworthy, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared Tuesday that "Gaza is burning," adding that the Israeli military is striking hard at Hamas's infrastructure.
He also indicated in a statement that "the army is fighting to create the conditions for recovering the hostages and defeating Hamas."
He also stressed that Israeli forces will not retreat until the mission in Gaza is completed.
