If you are good at your work, this is a wonderful thing, but if the work turns into a passion and a hobby of constant research and work, then it is much better.

This trait is found in six distinguished female journalists: Wafaa Abdel Hamid, Moshira Mousa, Camelia Atris, Amani Abdel Hamid, Nevine El-Aref, and Fathia Eldakhakhny.

The idea of a cultural salon came to the six journalists working in the Egyptian press and media, immersed in culture, antiquities, and heritage.

They wrote about Egypt and its beauty, civilization, and greatness, delivering a vision that expresses the details of Egyptian life and highlighting the strengths of the Egyptian essence.

Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Cultural Development Fund, the acclaimed journalists launched a cultural salon named Nefertiti.

The salon was established at the luxurious ancient palace, Prince Taz Palace, on May 7, 2023.

The reason for the name, as Atris reveals: “We named it that for an important reason: Queen Nefertiti left Germany by deception, and we have the right to return her to Egypt again.”

The salon has enriched its activities with free dialogue and creative intellect as well as hosted guests of a high degree of specialized knowledge in every field they examine.

Over the year, the Nefertiti Cultural Salon inspected 12 diverse seminars concerned with issues raised in the cultural arena and enriching Egyptian thought and conscience.

The salon presented topics such as:

1) Afrocentric movement... What do you want from Egyptian civilization?

2) Cairo has a unique architectural heritage

3) The recovery of antiquities between thefts, smuggling, and recovery.

4) Egyptian identity, education, and the family, between formation and construction.

5) Music between temple hymns and technohouse.

6) Egyptian celebrations and a history of joy.

7) Dedicated to Sinai, which was titled "Sinai, a unique and stubborn site.

8) Archaeological sites between development and investment.

9) Rituals and beliefs and their impact on the lives of Egyptians.

10) Historical drama between reality and imagination.

11) Ramadan and the history of ancient Egyptian rituals and customs.

12) Coptic holidays between religion and popular heritage.

Lastly, the success of this creation reflects that the passion for knowledge and work brings fruits of success and a beautiful impact on society.
