NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has condemned, Thursday, the Russian attack on Ukraine.
“I strongly condemn Russia’s reckless attack on Ukraine, which puts at risk countless civilian lives,” Stoltenberg tweeted
“This is a grave breach of international law & a serious threat to Euro-Atlantic security. NATO Allies will meet to address Russia’s renewed aggression,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that, five Russian planes, one helicopter were shot down by the Ukrainian army in Luhansk, on Thursday, according to media reports.
The Ukraine crisis worsened sharply, early Thursday after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a ‘military operation'.
In a televised speech, Putin said, “I have made the decision of a military operation.”
