Nadine El Selawy Joins Al Ahly Basketball Team Upon Returing from US

Nadine El Selawy, who formerly played basketball during her stay at the University of Carolina, has official signed with Cairo Giants Al Ahly. The news broke when her brother, Ahmed El Salawy who also plays for El Ahly revealed a photo with his sister carrying the Ahly Jersey.

The rising star had received several offers from professional teams in Europe, especially after the remarkable performances she showcased during her university years.

During her four years in the United States, El Selawy was able to garner many championships and titles, and was able to forge her name in her university's history after topping the list of historical scorers.

El Salawy scored 10 points in one match, bringing the total points that she achieved with to UNCG 1912 points as the most points scoring player in The history of the university.

She also previously achieved distinguished titles with the university in the American universities league. El Selawy scored a total of 1000 points with the University of North Carolina Greensboro, UNCG she was also named as the best newcomer in the university league after one year in the United States.
