Renowned actress and TV personality Nada Bassiouny hailed the recent discovery of the largest human and animal mummification workshop in the Boubasiton necropolis in the Saqqara.
"As an Egyptian, whose civilization spanned more than thousands of years old, I can say that my civilization is not only a cradle of medicine, anatomy, astronomy, engineering, architecture, philosophy, and the arts, but also a great civilization of morals, and human values that respect family," said Bassiouny.
Bassiouny also indicated that Modern Western Culture was inspired by Egypt's ancient history and culture.
"As a matter of fact, "Greek Hermetic writings, written by Timothy Frick, and the Age Enlightenment in Europe have been influenced by our civilization," she said.
The Garden City Ladies' star expressed her pride for being Egyptian, saying: "If I had not been born Egyptian, I would want to be an Egyptian."
