North Korea has fired multiple cruise missiles directed towards the Yellow Sea, the Yonhap news agency reported citing South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The missile launch occurred at about 7 a.m. local time, marking a concerning development in the region's security situation.
In response, the South Korean military has escalated its surveillance efforts and is closely collaborating with the United States to closely monitor any further potential provocations from North Korea, according to statements from the JCS as reported by Yonhap.
