Al Ahly boss South African Pitso Mosimane spoke after the Red Devils 4-0 victory over Al Ittihad Al Sakandari on Monday in the third week of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly head coach said that Al Ittihad Al Sakandari are tough opponents, led by a passionate coach, adding that the team learned a lot from their last match against Al Ittihad in the Egypt Cup semi-final, according to the Red Castle's official website.

“We followed the best strategy to stop Al Ittihad’s key players. It is an important victory.” the South African coach said.

“Some games require us to be in our best fitness level. These matches look like Mike Tyson's boxing matches,”

“We are playing important matches in the CAF Champions League and the Egyptian Premier League competitions and we need to concentrate to win those matches,” Mosimane added.

“Mohamed Sherif is an important player and he can play in different positions. He is currently sharing the play time with Marwan Mohsen and he is able to help the team with his goals,”

“I am happy to have players who can play in different positions. These players help us overcome any absences that we might have in the team,” he continued.

“I decided to substitute El Shahat to give him some rest as he just came back from an injury, and Taher Mohamed Taher is a good player and he has our trust. I wish him a speedy recovery,”

“We are preparing for our participation in the FIFA Club World Cup competition according to a plan, set by the coaching staff.” he concluded.
