Morocco’s home-based national team will face the defending champions, Senegal, in the semi-finals of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The highly anticipated encounter will take place tonight in Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
Morocco, who have lifted the CHAN trophy twice before, booked their place in the last four after edging hosts Tanzania 1-0 in Dar es Salaam.
Meanwhile, Senegal advanced to the semis by defeating Uganda 1-0 in Kampala, as they continue their title defense.
In the other semi-final, Madagascar will face Sudan.
Sudan sealed their qualification after eliminating Algeria with a 4-2 win on penalties in a tense quarter-final played on Saturday at Amani Stadium.
