Renowned Egyptian actor and director Mohamed Sobhi will make a comeback to the big screen after a 33-year absence.
Sobhi made the announcement Monday during an interview with the "ETC" TV channel without sharing further details about the upcoming film.
The actor was last seen in the play “Nogoum Al Dohor”.
The play was staged on November 11 and 12, at Mohamed Sobhi Theater in Sonbol City.
It also starred Samira Abdel Aziz, Abdel-Rahim Hassan, Gihan Kamary, Rehab Hussein, Shawky Tantawi, and others.
The play is based on an idea by Sobhi, who also directed and penned the play along with Ayman Feteha.
“Nogoum Al Dohor” tackles many issues that impact the Egyptians in a social comedy genre.
