Mohamed Salah added, "I think this is the nature of the city, they give you love and you feel connected to them because you are working hard, I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and gave everything."
He continued, "This season is the best for me with Liverpool so far, the goals and contributions were high, and I feel that I am helping my teammates, if you look at the players' statistics, you will find that the numbers are higher than in previous seasons and the number of industries is also increasing, so I think that the performance of Gakpo, Luis Diaz and my teammates this season is the best, and this is why I believe it is my best season."
This comes at a time when the English newspaper "The Athletic" revealed that the renewal negotiations between Mohamed Salah and Liverpool are still faltering due to the dispute over the player's salary, noting that the "Egyptian Pharaoh" contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the current season. The newspaper said, "Liverpool does not want to offer 400 thousand pounds a week to Mohamed Salah and he wants to extend his contract for two or three seasons.
