Egyptian star Mohamed Salah spoke about the favorites to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. In a televised interview, Salah said, "Most of the players on the Egyptian national team play in the domestic league, and that's all I can say."
The Egyptian captain confirmed that he dreams of winning the Africa Cup of Nations title after the team's successful qualification for the quarterfinals at the expense of Benin.
In the same interview, Salah said, "We were physically superior to our opponents, but the technical level was close. No team loses by four or five goals, and I'm happy with the win."
He concluded, "I never dreamed of playing at this level, so winning the title would be a great honor."
