The semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations feature some of the continent's greatest players. The last five winners of the African Player of the Year award are all from the national teams of Egypt, Senegal, Morocco, and Nigeria – the four teams in the semi-finals. Leading the pack is star player Mohamed Salah, who dreams of his first continental title with the Pharaohs.
Mohamed Salah will lead Egypt against Senegal at 7:00 PM today, Wednesday, at the Ibn Battouta Stadium in Tangier, in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Salah aims to guide Egypt to the final and move closer to winning the title, while also seeking revenge against Senegal, who defeated them in the 2021 final in Cameroon and in the final stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
