“The King” Mohamed Mounir released on Tuesday a new song titled “Ya Palestini” (Oh Palestinian) in solidarity with Palestine amid the ongoing Israel aggression in Gaza.
In the song, the acclaimed singer expresses the grief of the Arab world amid the extreme hardship in Palestinian society and sends a message of support to its citizens.
On October 7, Hamas initiated Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, a multi-pronged surprise attack that included a barrage of rocket launches and infiltrations into Israel by land, sea, and air.
It said the incursion was in retaliation for the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and growing violence by Israeli settlers. The Israeli military then launched Operation Swords of Iron against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in more than 11,078 deaths, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women, in addition to the injury of 27,490 others, the majority of whom are women and children.
The figure stands at more than 1,200 people in Israel.
