The Men's and Women's Modern Pentathlon World Cup kicked off at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and will continue until 10 March.
Egypt hosts the first World Cup Series for the 2024 season with the participation of 450 players from 50 countries. 12 players are participating from Egypt.
The International Federation of Modern Pentathlon granted Egypt the organization of the opening tournament of the World Cup series qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in 3 years, 2022, 2023 and the current year 2024.
