The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt during Tuesday’s daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Winds will be active in South Sinai and the south of the country.
The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Light to moderate rainfall will prevail intermittently in Marsa Matruh while Alexandria will witness light rainfall, at intermittent periods.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 meters and 2 meters with northeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 meter and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
