Minister of water resources and irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aty said on Saturday that no one has the ability to prevent water from reaching Egypt.
In televised statements, Abdel Aty underscored the importance of cooperation among the Nile Basin countries.
Moreover, he added that if the dialogue on managing the water file is being carried out in a cooperative logic, it will be welcomed by Egypt.
The minister explained that countries must seek more integration and cooperation. The crops that consume extra water can be grown in other countries. "Water is like air, and no one can withhold it," he continued.
