Minister of Tourism Follows Up Electronic Work in Tourism Sector

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa held a meeting on Thursday to follow up on the latest development regarding the development of electronic systems related to mechanisms across the tourism sector.

This step aims to cancel paper transactions and replace them with secure electronic ones, which will boost the tourist experience and foster the efficiency of administrative work in the agencies dealing with tourists.

Issa pointed out that the information system is one of the most important tools of the strategic decision-maker, adding that it aligns with the public spending programs undertaken by the government.

Through the initiative, the private sector will be able to manage its business more accurately and make more efficient strategic decisions.

In the same vein, the minister underlined the importance of establishing information infrastructure projects, highlighting the significant criteria for the success of such plans.

Furthermore, Issa affirmed the Arab Republic’s interest in information infrastructure, especially within the tourism sector. He also emphasized the importance of planning these projects in an appropriate way that contributes to achieving the desired goals.
