Microsoft regained its title as the most valuable company in the world on Friday after iPhone maker “Apple” recorded weak quarterly earnings.
Microsoft’s gained 2.2% on Friday, raising its market cap to USD 2.49 trillion.
Apple saw a 1.9% drop, squeezing its market cap to USD 2.46 trillion.
Microsoft revenues soared in Q3, pushed by the interest in cloud computing during the pandemic, as revenue grew 22%, its highest since 2014.
