Mexican President Claudia Schenbaum has proposed Mexico’s response to any tariffs imposed by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on her country’s goods by imposing tariffs on U.S. products, after Trump threatened to impose a 25% tariff on Mexican goods if the country does not stop the flow of drugs and migrants across the border.
Schenbaum has stated that she is willing to participate in talks on these issues, but noted that drugs are an American problem.
