German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed on Wednesday her concern over Iran's non-compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal.
In a phone call with Iran president Hassan Rouhani, Merkel stressed that Tehran should show some positive signals to create trust and enhance the chances of a diplomatic solution.
On his part, Rouhani said that if Europe is really seeking to preserve the nuclear pact, they must prove it in practice.
Moreover, the Iranian President underlined the importance to find a solution to the Yemeni crisis and put an end to the humanitarian catastrophe there.
