Scriptwriter Medhat El-Adl revealed on Saturday that he will run for Zamalek's presidency, noting that he would quite writing in case he wins the elections.
El-Adl added that changing Zamalek's coaching team is not in the club's favor, and that all the fans of the club are concerned about the changes that happened during the past period.
He indicated that he speaks with the Minister of Youth and Sports daily to find solutions to the problems of the football team, saying: "I want to reassure the fans of Zamalek that the budget of the football team is different from the budget of the club itself."

He pointed out that he and his family will not leave Zamalek club in the crises it's going through and added that he will run for the presidency of the Zamalek club, saying: “I will run for the elections when I am fully aware of all the club's details".
"I am a writer, and I would quite writing if I win the club's presidency," he pointed out.
Regarding football fanaticism, El-Adl concluded that a certain defect occurred to the morals of some fans after the revolution, saying: “Social media has faults and is sometimes fatal, incitement and intolerance, so I closed my Twitter account for two months.”
