France forward Kyllian Mbappe at only 19 years old becomes the youngest Frenchman in the history of the French football to score at the World Cup after scoring today against Peru.

The Frenchman is only 19 years old. Not only that, but he doesn’t turn 20 until December. He’s coming off a very solid campaign with PSG, netting 13 goals and proviiding eight assists across 28 Ligue 1 matches while racking up four goals and three more assists across eight Champions League contests and now on the biggest international stage of them all, Mbappé has made history for France.

If France are able to beat Peru today, they are through to the knockout rounds. Russia and Uruguay have already qualified from group A.
