CAIRO, Nov.11 (SEE)- Tom Hiddleston will return to play Loki "the god of mischief" in a new Marvel TV series based on his Marvel Cinematic Universe Character. However, no one knows where in Marvel's timeline this new series will fit into, given the character's death in Avengers: Infinity War at the hands of the Mad Titan Thanos.
The Walt Disney Company revealed these details during the company's quarterly earnings, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that a live-action television series centered around Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is in development at Disney+. This confirms news that was first reported in September of this year, which suggested that Loki and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) TV shows were on the way.
Hiddleston expressed his joy on his Twitter account by tweeting "Loki. More stories to tell. More mischief to make. More to come."
