Zamalek SC chairman Mortada Mansour said that the club's first football team is in danger due to what he described as the "unpleasant climate" that dominates the atmosphere.

Mansour explained during his meeting with officials of "Facebook Pages", that the players want to leave the team because of the club's surroundings, adding: "For the first time I am saying this, Zamalek is in danger, Zamalek is likely to collapse," according to Zamalek official website.

Mansour asserted: "I will never do anything that could hurt my country, I am a patriot and I love my country's soil, and I support the army, the police and the judiciary system. I am against violence, against calibration and against chaos no matter what; fans must abide by and not go out into the streets,"

"There is not a single place, including the parliament, that can make a man; men are the ones who make any place what it is,"

Zamalek chairman added: "There are two major clubs in Egypt, Al Ahly, whom I respect and have respect for its fans, but Al-Ahly's board of directors cannot choose the president of the Zamalek club,"

"There was a meeting between the president of the Olympic Committee, the President of Al Ahly and the President of the International Handball Federation, and the session was in pictures, and one day later decisions were taken announcing the dismissal of the president of the Zamalek club." he continued.

He then pointed that he" respects Ashraf Sobhy, the Minister of Sports, and love him very much, but the club did not receive any money from the state, and all facilities in the club were constructed at the expense of the members,"

He added in a message to the minister: "We have to respect the constitution, which we all have sworn to respect, and the constitution stipulates that the government will implement the laws on Mortada or anyone else ... and the law stipulates that the minister can cancel any decision by the board of directors of any club in case the decision was wrong, O Minister, if we made a wrong decision, you must revoke it,"

He continued: "The general assembly of clubs must be respected, the law defines the Egyptian Olympic Committee's terms of reference.. Those specializations do not contain any article stipulating the dismissal of the president of any club."

Mortada also sent another message: “I dare the media to state a clear violation from the Zamalek club’s board of directors. We are honest people, and you should refer to Turki Al-Sheikh’s statements when he said that Mortada refused to take any money and transfer it to the club’s account.”

He concluded: "Zamalek club has 50 million fans who love their country and maintain its stability. The fans of the Zamalek club are not few. We have a very important tournament."

Zamalek is scheduled to clash with Al Ahly on November 27 in the CAF Champions League final.
