Mortada Mansour, Chairman of Zamalek, refused to allow 40 thousand fans to attend the Egyptian Super Cup between his club and El-Ahly.

"I am afraid of a fight occurring between supporters of the two teams. The atmosphere is tense especially after the incident of Shikabala fine". Mansour added.

He continued: "It is in my interest to allow the attendance of 100 thousand fans and the presence of the fans of Zamalek and El-Ahly shortly after our triumph of winning the title of the Egyptian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia and the Confederation Cup recently."

The President of the White Giants continued his speech, saying: "I spoke with the President of the Interim Football Association and the relevant bodies and expressed my objection to the presence of the masses, especially as we are preparing for a new season and I fear a disaster."

He pointed out: "I refuse to set up the super on the stadium of El-Salam because it is El-Ahly's stadium and I refuse to stay in Petrosport because it is Zamalek's Stadium; I demand the establishment of the super on a neutral stadium like the African Super match."
