Manchester City have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian forward Antoine Seminio from Bournemouth on a five-and-a-half-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2031.
The 26-year-old winger has made a name for himself in the Premier League, emerging as one of the most dangerous attackers and standout offensive wingers in the competition.
His move makes him the first Ghanaian player to don the sky-blue jersey of Manchester City.
Seminio began his professional career at Bristol City and spent loan spells at Bath City, Newport County, and Sunderland, where he honed his skills before breaking through at Bournemouth in the middle of the 2022/23 season.
He featured in 110 matches for Bournemouth, establishing himself as a key left-wing player in their attacking midfield trio, which caught the attention of Manchester City as they look to strengthen their squad for continued competition on all fronts.
The forward will be available immediately, starting with the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle next Tuesday.
