Egyptian singer-actress, Mai Kassab is ready to make a return to the music scene after going on 3-month hiatus.
During the past few hours, she finished recording her new song, “AlNas lil Nas,”.
It is by the lyrics of Hazem Hashad and composed by Mahmoud Salah.
She has also recorded another song, "Hodn Aboya," as a tribute to her late father, who passed away last July.
Kassab, born on December 8, 1981, began her music career by forming the band “Ghamid Eneyk” with the Syrian musician Magd Al Kassem.
The band released its first album “Hagga Tiksif” in 2005 and the second album “Ahla al Kalam” in 2007.
In 2006, Kassab made her acting debut alongside Ahmed El Fishawy in a comedy TV series “Tamir wa Shawqiyah.”
Thereafter, Mai appeared in a number of film roles such as “Al Farah” and “Bobos."
